SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PAKISTANI STUDENTS IN KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA (SCHOLARSHIP 2023-24)

​The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has unveiled fully funded scholarship opportunities for Pakistani students pursuing education at various levels, including Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD programs within the Kingdom. These scholarships are open to both Pakistani students residing in Pakistan and those who are legal residents of the Kingdom.

سعودی عرب کی مملکت نے پاکستانی طلباء کے لئے پوری طرح سے مالی امداد فراہم کرنے والے بول چال کئے ہیں جو مملکت کے اندر تعلیم حاصل کر رہے ہیں، شامل ہیں ڈپلوما، بیچلرز، ماسٹرز، اور ڈاکٹریٹ کے پروگرامز۔ یہ سکالرشپیں پاکستان میں رہنے والے طلباء کے لئے بھی کھولی گئی ہیں اور وہ بھی جو مملکت کے قانونی 

باشندوں ہیں۔

Procedure to apply for Scholarships

·         The procedure are also written in Urdu after this below.

·         Students should apply directly on the respective Saudi university's website or online portal.

·         Each university has its own eligibility criteria and application deadlines, which can be found on their websites.

·         Scholarships are available for Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD levels.

·         These scholarships cover a wide range of disciplines, including political science, law, education, economics, engineering, computer science, agriculture, Arabic/Islamic studies, and media sciences.

·         These scholarships are offered by 25 universities in Saudi Arabia.

·         Each university can admit only 5% international students, except for Princess Noor Binte Abdul Rehman University for girls in Riyadh and Jamia Islamia Madinah Munawara. Princess Noor Binte Abdul Rehman University admits 8% on scholarship, while Jamia Islamia Madinah Munawara admits 85% on scholarships.

·         The university will forward applications to the Saudi Ministry of Education for the final scholarship decisions.

·         Applicants should share a copy of their submitted application with the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh at pahrepriyad@mofa.gov.pk for follow-up with the Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia, and the respective university for scholarship grants.

• طلباء کو چاہئے کہ وہ مطابقتی سعودی یونیورسٹی کی ویب سائٹ یا آن لائن پورٹل پر براہ راست درخواست دیں۔

• ہر یونیورسٹی کی اپنی اہلیت کی معیار اور درخواست دینے کا وقت مخصوص ہوتا ہے، جو ان کی ویب سائٹوں پر دستیاب ہوتا ہے۔

• ان سکالرشپوں کا اختتام ڈپلوما، بیچلرز، ماسٹرز، اور ڈاکٹریٹ کی سطحوں پر کیا جاتا ہے۔

• یہ سکالرشپیں وسیع مجموعہ شعبوں کو شامل کرتی ہیں، جیسے سیاست شاستر، قانون، تعلیم، معاشیات، انجینئرنگ، کمپیوٹر سائنس، زرعی کام، عربی/اسلامی مطالعات، اور میڈیا سائنسز۔

• یہ سکالرشپیں 25 سعودی عرب کی یونیورسٹیوں کی طرف سے فراہم کی جاتی ہیں۔

• ہر یونیورسٹی صرف 5 فیصد بین الاقوامی طلباء کو داخلہ دینے کی اجازت رکھتی ہے، صرف نوابین نور بنت عبدالرحمن یونیورسٹی لڑکیوں کے لئے ریاض اور جامعہ اسلامیہ مدینہ منورہ کو علمی سکالرشپوں پر داخلے کی 8 فیصد اور جامعہ اسلامیہ مدینہ منورہ کو کل کی مدت کی 85 فیصد کی اجازت ہوتی ہے۔

• یونیورسٹی درخواستوں کو سعودی تعلیم وزارت کو فارورڈ کرے گی جو آخری سکالرشپ کی فیصلہ دے گی۔

• درخواست دینے والے امیدواروں کو درخواست کی کاپی کو ریاست پاکستان کی ریاض کی سفارت کی آفیشل ای میل ایڈریس pahrepriyad@mofa.gov.pk کے ساتھ شئیر کرنی چاہئے تاکہ سعودی عرب کی تعلیم وزارت اور مطابقتی یونیورسٹی کو سکالرشپ دینے کی منظوری کی پیروی کی جا سکے

Eligibility Criteria

·         Applicants must be Pakistani or AJK nationals.

·         75% of scholarships are for students from Pakistan, and 25% are for Pakistani students living in Saudi Arabia.

·         Both males and females can apply for these scholarships.

·         For Bachelor's programs, applicants should be between 17 to 25 years old. For Master's programs, they must be under 30, and for PhD programs, they should be under 35 at the closing date of the university's application portal.

·         Successful applicants will start their programs in Saudi Arabia in September/October each year.

·         Applicants should not hold any other scholarships when they receive the Saudi scholarship.

·         Applicants should have a clean criminal record.

·         Applicants should not have been suspended from any educational institution for disciplinary or valid reasons.

·         Other requirements may be set by the Saudi University or the Saudi Government. 

یہاں ایک سکالرشپ کی شرائط کو اردو میں دوبارہ لکھا گیا ہے

· کی قومیت رکھنے چاہئیں۔ اے جے کے  امیدوار پاکستانی یا

· سکالرشپ کی 75٪ پاکستان کے طلباء کے لئے ہیں، اور 25٪ پاکستانی طلباء کے لئے ہیں جو سعودی عرب میں رہتے ہیں۔

· دونوں مرد اور عورت اس سکالرشپ کے لئے درخواست دے سکتے ہیں۔

· بیچلر کے پروگرامز کے لئے امیدواروں کی عمر 17 سے 25 سال کے درمیان ہونی چاہئیے۔ ماسٹرز کے پروگرامز کے لئے وہ 30 سال کے تحت رہنے چاہئیں، اور ڈاکٹریٹ کے پروگرامز کے لئے وہ 35 سال کے تحت رہنے چاہئیے جب جامعے کی درخواست کی تاریخ کا اختتام ہوتا ہے۔

· کامیاب امیدوار ہر سال ستمبر / اکتوبر میں سعودی عرب میں اپنے پروگرامز کا آغاز کریں گے۔

· امیدوار جب سعودی سکالرشپ حاصل کرتے ہیں تو دوسری کوئی سکالرشپ نہیں رکھ سکتے۔

· امیدواروں کے پاس ایک صاف کرمنل ریکارڈ ہونا چاہئے۔

· امیدواروں کو کسی تعلیمی ادارے سے تنخواہ یا منصوبے کے درست وجوہات کے باعث برطرف نہیں کیا گیا ہونا چاہئیے۔

· دوسرے ضروری شرائط سعودی یونیورسٹی یا سعودی حکومت کی طرف سے مقرر کیے جا سکتے ہیں۔

Benefits of Scholarship

•  The scholarship covers free lodging.
• 03 months furnishing allowance on arrival in KSA for married scholars.
• Return air ticket.
• Free medical for the students and his/her family, if married.
• 3 Months graduation allowance for shipment of books.
• Subsidized meal at the campus.
• Sports & recreational activities on the campus, support for dependents and travel expenses.
• Monthly allowance, a monthly allowance of 900 Saudi Riyal (SR) will be given to science students and 850 SR to humanities students.
